ಪುಸಿಯ ನೀಂ ಪುಸಿಗೈದು ದಿಟವ ಕಾಣ್ಬವೊಲೆಸಗೆ ।
ಮುಸುಕ ತಳೆದಿಹನು ಪರಬೊಮ್ಮನೆನ್ನುವೊಡೆ ॥
ಒಸೆದೇತಕವನೀಯನೆಮಗೊಂದು ನಿಜಕುರುಹ ।
ನಿಶೆಯೊಳುಡುಕರದವೊಲು? — ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥
ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಎಂದು ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡು ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುವವನಂತಾದರೆ, ಆ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನು ಮರೆಯಾಗಿ ಮುಸುಕು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಂತೆ ಇರುವುದಾದರೆ, ಅವನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗಿ, ರಾತ್ರಿ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರದ ಕಿರಣಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ದಾರಿ ತೋರುವಂತೆ, ಒಂದು ಗುರುತನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಇರುವಿಕೆಯ ಕುರುಹಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸಬಾರದೇನು? ಇನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಮುಸುಕುಬೆಳಕೊಂದಾದ ಸಂಜೆಮಂಜೇನವನು ।
ಮಿಸುಕಿ ಸುಳಿಯುವ ಸಮಯ? — ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥
ಹಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಬಾರದೆಂತಾದರೆ, ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕೆ ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಆ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮ. ರವಿ ಚಂದ್ರರು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ಕಿಟಕಿಗಳೇನು? ಇತ್ತ ಹಗಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿಶೆಯೂ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವ ಮುಸ್ಸಂಜೆಯ ಸಮಯವೇನು ಅವನು ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ಸಮಯ ಎಂದು ಒಂದು ನೇರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು.

ಅದರ ಕೀಲ್ಕುಂಚಿಕೆಯ ಹೊರಕೆಸೆಯೆ ಸಾಕು ॥
ಪದವಾಕ್ಯವಿದರಾಗ ವಾದಗಡಣೆಯ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ।
ಒದವಿಪರು ದಿಟದರಿವ — ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥
ಆ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಗುಡಿಯಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ, ಚಿಲಕ ಹಾಕಿ, ಬೀಗ ಜಡಿದು ಬೀಗದ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಎಸೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ, ಆಗ ಪಂಡಿತರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಧ್ವಾಂಸರು ಆ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತ, ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಆ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತಾದ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅರಿಯಲು ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡುವರು ಎಂಬುದು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದ ವಾಚ್ಯಾರ್ಥವು.
Lock the door of the temple. Let the lord lie within. Throw away the key bunch. But is this enough for scholars to abandon argument and know the ultimate truth?

ಆಹ! ಈ ಮೋಹಗಳೊ ನೇಹಗಳೊ ದಾಹಗಳೊ ।
ಊಹಿಪೆಯ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲಿ ಹೃದಯಮಿಹುದೆಂದು? ॥
ಹೋಹೊ ಹಾಹಾ ಎಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯ್ಬಿಡಿಸುವುದೆ ।
ಈ ಹರಿಬದೊಳಗುಟ್ಟೊ? — ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥
ಆಹಾ ಈ ಬಂಧನಗಳು ಸ್ನೇಹಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಬಯಕೆಗಳು ಇವುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಎಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲೂ ಹೃದಯವಿದೆಯೆಂದು ನೀನು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀಯಾ. ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಅಟ್ಟಹಾಸದಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ಅಂತಹ ಅಟ್ಟಹಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿಸಿವುದೇ ಈ ಜಗದ್ವ್ಯಾಪಾರದ ಗುಟ್ಟು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಳಗೊಳಗೆ ಬಳಿ ಸುತ್ತಲೆತ್ತೆತ್ತಲುಂ ।
ಮೂಲೆಮೂಲೆಯಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯುಲ್ಲಹರಿಯೊಂದು ॥
ಧೂಲಿಕಣ ಭೂಗೋಳ ರವಿ ಚಂದ್ರ ತಾರೆಗಳ ।
ಚಾಲಿಪುದು ಬಿಡು ಕೊಡದೆ — ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥
ಪರಮ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖ ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದೊಳಗೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಈ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರೂ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಮತ್ತೆ ನಾನೂ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಸಕಲ ಜೀವರಾಶಿಗಳ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣೀಭೂತವಾದ ಆ ಪರಮ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಾಧಕರೂ, ಸಿದ್ಧರೂ, ಸತ್ಪುರುಷರೂ, ಭಕ್ತರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಪಾರವಶ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೇಲೆ, ಕೆಳಗೆ, ಒಳಗೆ, ಹತ್ತಿರ, ದೂರ, ಸುತ್ತಲು, ಮತ್ತು ಎತ್ತೆತ್ತಲೂ ಆ ವಿದ್ಯುಲ್ಲಹರಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ” ಬಿಡು ಕೊಡದೆ” ಎಂದರೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ, ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣವೂ ವಿರಾಮವಿಲ್ಲದೇ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದ ಅಂತರ್ಯ.
